Job Summary
Advise the organization on legal issues within private law, European law, and insurance, formulating advice on railway law and workplace well-being while ensuring compliance with the Railway Code and Belgian regulations. Manage relationships and track disputes with internal and external stakeholders, supporting operational services during public procurement contract disputes. Monitor project legality across assigned domains, evaluate the legality of decisions, and guide decision-making bodies by recommending options. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of railway developments and anticipate legislative changes to provide evidence-based advice. Defend Infrabel's interests in meetings with public or private entities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Law
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an advocate or corporate lawyer, preferably within the mentioned legal domains (railway law and related services)
- Good knowledge of French
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work independently and a strong team spirit
- Proactive attitude when managing dossiers and showing initiative
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented, accurate and meticulous
- Ability to organize work well and set priorities
