Job Summary
Join Atco Fire Prevention Services as a Certified Red Seal Journeyman Sprinkler System Installer responsible for performing inspections, testing, and maintenance on sprinkler systems, completing detailed inspection reports, correcting deficiencies in accordance with NFPA standards, and communicating effectively with team members. Candidates must hold a Red Seal certification, possess relevant experience, and have a clean driver's abstract and criminal record. Opportunities for out-of-town work and cross-certification exist.
Required Qualifications
- Red seal journeyman certificate in the Sprinkler System Installer trade
- Experience as a journeyman in the inspection and service aspect of the trade
- Class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
- Clean criminal record check
- Flexibility to accommodate different scheduling requirements and work outside of regular business hours
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
Desired Qualifications
- Cross-connection control testers certificate
- Completion of one or more CFAA modules
- Field experience with fire alarm systems
- Fire Extinguisher certification
- First Aid training
- Arial work platform certificate
- Fall arrest certificate
