Job Summary
Onsite Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic responsible for inspecting, installing, adjusting, and maintaining mechanical equipment; dismantling, repairing, and assembling plant equipment to manufacturer specifications; operating specific mobile equipment and performing plumbing maintenance; interpreting drawings and manuals; using precision maintenance tools; training as needed; adhering to OH&S, environmental requirements, and safety regulations; may train for firefighting duties as a shift fire crew member; role requires authorization to work in Canada and completing Mosaic pre-employment checks.
Required Qualifications
- A recognized, valid Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic's Certificate
- Full knowledge of safe utilization and care of power and hand tools
- Full knowledge of cutting and welding practices
- The ability to discern the state of mechanical condition of machines and equipment and take appropriate action
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing
