Job Summary
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components across low-, medium-, and high-voltage environments. Read schematics and specifications to perform construction, commissioning, outage, and shutdown work while adhering to the Canadian Electrical Code and safety standards. Mentor apprentices, complete service reports and safety documentation, and travel to customer sites in Saskatchewan for field-based assignments. Work multiple shift schedules including days, nights, and weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certification
- Previous experience in industrial, commercial, construction, maintenance, commissioning, or field service electrical work
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safe work practices, electrical codes, and applicable standards
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Willingness and availability to work field-based assignments, travel, overtime, and multiple shift schedules as required
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, teamwork, and customer service
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with control systems, conduit, cable tray, grounding, terminations, switchgear, motors, MCCs, transformers, or medium-voltage equipment
- Industrial safety training or certifications such as CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, fall protection, or confined space
