Job Summary
Maintain electrical systems by constructing, altering, repairing, and testing components integral to industrial operations. Install and maintain low, medium, and high voltage equipment while working safely around energized power and control systems. Mentor apprentices and team members to support safe, efficient task execution. Determine material selection and ensure installations comply with the Canadian Electrical Code. Keep construction and quality documentation while participating in client field audits and safety reporting. Adhere to company health, personnel, and safety policies. Work 7/7 rotational shifts with 12-hour days, including overtime opportunities, with camp accommodations provided.
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyman Certificate
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must have a valid driver's license and able to maintain a clean abstract
- Available for out-of-town work based on varying project requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance of electrical systems considered an asset
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial setting considered an asset
- Industrial facility safe work qualifications/training considered asset
