Install electrical systems, equipment, and components on industrial projects while interpreting drawings and ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system testing using appropriate tools, then collaborate with other trades to complete documentation and maintain a clean work environment. This 12-day shutdown in Redwater, Alberta, offers a rate of $42.50 per hour with overtime at 1.5x, plus a $225 per day LOA. Valid Red Seal certification and two years of industrial experience are required, along with H2S Alive, Fall Protection, and First Aid certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work
- Valid H2S Alive
- Fall Protection
- Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED)
- CSTS 2020
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
- OH&S requirements knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to interpret technical documents
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Proficiency with testing devices
- Proficiency with electrical equipment
- Valid driver's licence
- Flexible availability for shift work
