Job Summary
Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance on compact cars, domestic vehicles, and light-duty fleets. Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing expertise to support their skill development in a learning-focused environment. Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles and identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team. Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks. This full-time, permanent role is based in the Burnaby, BC store.
Required Qualifications
- Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified)
- A valid driver's license
- Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments
- Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Candidates considered for the role must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada
- A Canadian Criminal Record Check may be required for certain positions as part of the final stages of the hiring process
