Job Summary
Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for multi-family and light commercial properties, including wiring, circuit breakers, panels, and lighting systems. Diagnose and repair electrical issues in compliance with the National Electrical Code and safety regulations. Support HVAC service calls by diagnosing air handlers, condensers, and package units, while conducting preventive maintenance on both systems. Collaborate with field supervisors to order parts and communicate service needs to property management. Maintain a fully stocked work vehicle with necessary tools and components. Requires a valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License, five years of relevant experience, and proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints. Full-time role in Dallas/Fort Worth with overtime opportunities and performance bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman or Wireman Electrician, with additional knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent Wireman certification.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Desired Qualifications
- EPA certification for HVAC (preferred).
- Experience diagnosing electrical and HVAC issues in multi-family apartment buildings.
- VRF and mini-split training or experience.
- Advanced certifications (e.g. Wireman/Journeyman Electrician, NATE certification for HVAC).
- Knowledge of energy-efficient electrical and HVAC systems.
