Job Summary
Perform structural and pipe welding using MIG, TIG, and stick techniques, and install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery. Read blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols to ensure compliance with safety standards, while conducting routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical failures and align machines using precision tools. Work independently or as part of a team in harsh industrial environments, often involving hot, humid, or cold conditions, with travel to client sites required. Schedule includes variable hours, evenings, weekends, and frequent overtime. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in welding
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Minimum 4 years of millwright experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with machine shop tools and industrial equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work long, flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Travel to client and customer sites is required
- Days and hours of work may vary at times to include some evenings and weekends
- Must always be alert and able to safely perform the essential duties of the job without risking harm to oneself or others
- Must be able to pass a post-offer / pre-placement drug screen and job-related employment physicals
- Must also submit to a post-offer / pre-employment background check that verifies criminal history
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

- Able to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
- Frequently climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping, and handling materials
- Able to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to (frequently - 25 pounds; routinely - 50 pounds)
