Job Summary
Journeyman Welder at Silent-Aire responsible for fabrication of custom prototypes from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts, and welding of metal structures in a high-paced production environment. Will read and interpret blueprints, operate MIG, ARC, TIG welding processes and related tools (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, PAW, SMAW, OAW, SAW), brazing and soldering, and use metal shaping equipment. Duties include repairing parts, conducting technical inspections, maintaining detailed documentation, and ensuring safety compliance. Will assist in training and supervising junior employees, work shifts Monday–Thursday nights (6 PM–5:30 AM), and travel to off-site locations as required. Requires a licensed journeyman welder in Alberta with progress toward Interprovincial Red Seal or CWB tickets, and active certifications in GMAW/SMAW with ability to work in all positions.

- Valid welding certification: GMAW, SMAW, SMAW (positions)
