Job Summary
Journeyman Electrician needed to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems per NEC/OSHA. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues on service calls, performing repairs and upgrades, installing wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment, reading blueprints/schematics, and conducting preventive maintenance. Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA and Texas state regulations; provide clear communication with clients; maintain records of work performed; participate in on-call rotations. Requires experienced with 3-phase power, motors, controls, and PLC basics; proficient with testing tools; valid Texas Journeyman license and clean driving record; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varied conditions. Required Qualifications
- Current Texas Journeyman Electrician license (issued by TDLR)
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair within commercial environments
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, including 3-phase power, motors, controls, and PLC basics preferred
- Proficiency with tools and testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various conditions
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with energy-efficient systems or renewable integrations (preferred)
