Job Summary
The Journeyman Protection Control Meter Technician is responsible for verifying connections of newly installed circuits in generating stations and substations, testing generating equipment, measuring instruments, and other electrical system components for proper operation. This role requires Journeyman Level experience and includes skills in communication, basic and advanced electricity, basic electronics, and decision-making. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, first aid certification, and CPR competency. Company provided housing may be available and a $20,000 retention payment will be provided after two years of continuous service.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Level experience as P/C Meter Technician I
- Communication skills
- Basic and advanced electricity courses
- Basic electronics
- Decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license
- First aid certification and CPR competency

- Advanced electronics helpful.
