Job Summary
The Plumbing Service Journeyman is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures and piping. Demonstrates diagnostic and problem-solving skills and delivers exceptional customer service. Routine duties include repair or replacement of faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, domestic water lines, and drain lines; inspect, install, repair, and replace pipes and fixtures; diagnose problems; ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and electrical/plumbing requirements during installation and repair; operate plumbing tools and equipment; provide cost estimates to customers; maintain records; promote Constellation Home services.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Journeyman trade license in Plumbing
- Valid gas fitter's license
- Experience working in plumbing service
- Advanced knowledge of residential plumbing service, including local plumbing and gas codes, tools, and materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
