Job Summary
Diagnose plumbing system issues and present repair options; install, repair, service and maintain plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites; install water heaters, boilers, faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures; handle emergency plumbing services; ensure compliance with local codes; clearly communicate system findings to customers and explain required repairs and upgrades; provide detailed multi-option quotes and discuss repair or upgrade choices; identify opportunities for additional services or preventative maintenance; obtain necessary permits; meet revenue goals; document work including photos, notes and hours; fulfill on-call duties; operate company vehicle and equipment; excellent benefits including paid premiums for medical/dental/vision, 401k options, life insurance, holidays, and vacation pay.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumbing License required
- 2+ years of plumbing experience
- Commercial experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Must meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) eligibility requirements
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems
