Job Summary
Assemble, install, pressure test, and repair commercial plumbing systems including water, drainage, gas, and specialty piping in accordance with IPC codes and project specifications. Read blueprints and shop drawings to determine layouts, locate pipe connections, and install fixtures such as sinks, water heaters, and boilers. Coordinate with foremen and other trades to meet schedules, perform leak testing, and troubleshoot system deficiencies. Train and mentor apprentices while maintaining clean, safe job sites and operating tools according to OSHA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years of commercial plumbing experience
- Driver's License
- Must be able to lift or carry 50 lbs.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman Card or NC or SC Plumbing license
- Osha 30
