Journeyman Parts Consultant

Job Summary
Provide parts support for Caterpillar and other vendors to customers and internal departments, upsell parts opportunities with extensive product knowledge, manage inquiries over the phone and in person, advise substitutions when replacements are unavailable, process orders and invoices, maintain accurate customer/equipment information, and collaborate with internal teams. Requires high school diploma or GED, at least 4 years CAT Parts Consultant experience, forklift certification, English proficiency, willingness to travel up to 80% and work overtime/on-call; physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs; strong relationship-building, teamwork, and safety adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years CAT Parts Consultant experience
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Forklift operator certification
- Ability to travel occasionally for training/meetings
- Ability to work overtime, on-call, and up to 80% travel
