Job Summary
Operates and maintains hydro power facilities at Merwin Hydro Dam as a Journeyman Operator Maintenance, including operating plants, writing switching orders, and issuing tag-outs. Performs maintenance on generators, penstocks and associated equipment, conducts substation inspections and routine checks, keeps logs, troubleshoots and performs maintenance on electrical and control systems (multimeter, clamp-on ammeter, PLCs), and may assist with minor construction, road/trail/bridge work and concrete mixing. Requires power-plant operation/maintenance experience and the ability to obtain required certifications (Operator qualification within 6 months; Commercial Driver's License within 6 months).

- Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License within 6 months
