Job Summary
The Journeyman Millworker provides skilled millwork services to support the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation's operations, including the fabrication, assembly, and installation of cabinets and furniture, adhering to trade and historical standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 5 years of relevant millwork experience
- Valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- 8 or more years' experience in restoration carpentry/millwork
- Experience at museums, historic sites, colleges, or universities
- Experience with the National Park Service or similar organization
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must provide a 5-year Motor Vehicle Record prior to employment
- No more than 1 moving violation or at fault accident within 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents within 36 months
- No serious motor vehicle violations
