Job Summary
Direct and perform all maintenance duties including repairing, installing, and troubleshooting equipment in a corrugated production/converting plant. Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work requirements. Install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery using hand and power tools. Inspect machinery to detect malfunctions and adjust equipment to repair or replace defective parts. Maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery during installation and repair. Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery with a safety-first focus. Rotate between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to rotate between 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift
- Minimum of 3 years or more of prior experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
- General knowledge of gear drives, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree or Journeyman certificate in an industrial maintenance type field
