Job Summary
Evaluate current shipboard auxiliary systems and develop designs for equipment selections, focusing on hydraulics, piping, HVAC, pumps, valves, and critical machinery components. Provide technical support and documentation for marine vessel operations, including design calculations, configuration analyses, and system specifications. Conduct analysis of auxiliary systems and apply applicable design requirements to support engineering solutions. Work effectively in cross-functional teams remotely or on-site in Glen Burnie, MD, while maintaining a DoD Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Able to perform design calculations and studies
- Conduct analysis and design of piping, auxiliary systems, and configuration
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Must be available for remote work until November 2026
- Must be available for on-site work three (3) Days in Glen Burnie, MD after November 2026
- Must be able to be on camera during interviews and assessments
- Must be able to have a picture taken to verify identity and prevent fraud
- Must have work authorization (E-Verify)
