Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic presses, diagnose mechanical and basic electrical systems, and dismantle equipment to replace defective parts. Adjust and calibrate functional parts, perform arc welding and metal fabrication, and operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and milling equipment. Read assembly drawings, assist with PLC troubleshooting, and initiate purchase orders for replacement parts. Conduct performance testing after repairs and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Requires a current Journeyman card, five years of manufacturing experience, and ability to work overtime including Saturdays. Interviews are underway for this direct hire role in Greenfield, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman card (required – must be current and verifiable)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic presses
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read assembly drawings and assist with PLC diagnostics
- Arc welding and machining experience (lathe & mills)
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100 lbs occasionally)
- Comfortable working overtime, including Saturdays as needed
- Associates degree in a technical field OR equivalent hands-on experience
