Job Summary
Seeking a Journeyman Lineman for Southeast Colorado Power Association to perform electric line construction, maintenance, and supervision under safety regulations, requiring a high school diploma and relevant training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Journeyman Lineman training program with certification
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain it within sixty days
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety rules
- Ability to learn CPR and first aid techniques
- Knowledge of RUS specifications and material uses
- Ability to operate a boom truck and aerial device
- Capacity to work in adverse weather and dangerous conditions
Additional Requirements
- Must live within 60 miles of the La Junta office/warehouse
- Must be willing to accept duty calls at any time of the day or night
