Job Summary
Journeyman Lineman in the Permian Basin responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission lines. Performs work under the Line Foreman, coordinates with customers, follows safety practices, and maintains tools, equipment, and worksites. Must climb poles and operate in energized environments (15-kV, 34-kV, and 115-kV systems), use hot line tools, read and interpret plans, and work at heights. May require after-hours call-backs, travel up to ~25% and outdoor work in varying weather. Requires ability to drive/operate heavy equipment and hold a valid CDL Class A. Education includes High School Diploma or GED; must be current in First Aid/CPR; experience in Energy/Oil & Gas field is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Licensed Journeyman Lineman
- Current first aid/CPR certified
- 5+ years of direct experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas industry
- Valid commercial driver’s license Class A
