Job Summary
Journeyman Lineman role in Worland, WY at PacifiCorp, performing installation, maintenance, and repair of transmission and distribution electrical systems both overhead and underground. Responsibilities include working with line trucks, aerial booms, bucket lifts, pole climbing, hot sticking, grounding, switching, and training/ directing trainees. Rubber gloving training provided with pay increase upon qualification. Benefits package includes medical/dental/vision, 401k with match, life insurance, tuition assistance, transit pass, PTO and disability leave. Requires completion of an apprenticeship, a valid Class A CDL, and successful UWUA 127 testing; pre-placement physical screening required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship training program
- Experience as a Journeyman Lineman, Journeyman Lineman certification and/or testing through UWUA 127
- Must meet examining board review of skills and experience
- Formal hot stick training and experience
- Own or obtain Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must pass UWUA 127 testing in third month of employment
