Job Summary
Journeyman Lineman with leadership capabilities stepping into a Foreman role. Lead crews in safe construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. Interpret blueprints, staking sheets, and system maps; operate line equipment including bucket trucks and digger derricks. Train and mentor crew members, promote safety and accountability, and communicate with management, team, and customers. Respond to outages and emergencies as required; plan, coordinate, and execute projects with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. 4-day work week in Grand Island, NE; competitive pay based on experience with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship program
- Valid Journeyman Lineman certification
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required or ability to obtain
- Strong leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and safety practices
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
