Job Summary
Remove and teardown structures by stripping interiors and eliminating items of value. Operate heavy equipment and use wrecking bars, sledgehammers, torch cutting, and air power tools to dismantle safely. Terminate all electrical power, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems while identifying and protecting live utilities. Identify hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead paint, then recycle all materials per contract documents. Properly support structural items and clean up work areas as demolition occurs. Maintain a standing position for extended periods while adhering to OSHA and Swinerton safety practices. Support activities at all job-sites as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment and demolition work
- Lift and/or pull 75lbs.
- Climb ladders
- Work off ladders
- Man lifts or other equipment
- Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time
- Fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt
- Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions

- Adhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and procedures
- Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed
