Job Summary
Industrial Electrical Journeyman needed to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in manufacturing, processing, and heavy industrial environments. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment; running and terminating conduit, wire, and cable per blueprints; reading electrical drawings and schematics; wiring motors and controls including VFDs, PLC panels, and MCCs; testing systems for hazards and defects; ensuring NEC/OSHA compliance and safety culture; working independently or with a foreman; mentoring apprentices. Requires a valid Journeyman license, 4+ years of industrial experience, strong knowledge of power distribution and automation, ability to interpret diagrams, valid license and reliable transport, and a strong safety/quality focus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state-issued Journeyman Electrician License
- Minimum of 4+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Strong understanding of industrial power distribution, motor controls, and automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
