Job Summary
Journeyman Red Seal HVAC/R Technician for a 3-month term in Calgary, AB. Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation and dismantling of HVAC, refrigeration, and central HVAC systems; follow construction plans, coordinate material deliveries, and ensure compliance with safety, building codes, and environmental requirements. Requires reading blueprints, strong communication, ability to work after hours/weekends, travel willingness, and a safety-sensitive background check. Uniforms and PPE provided; role involves both field servicing and project support, including planning and scoping of new work.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Certified HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic (Red Seal)
- Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract
- Willing and able to travel
- Residential and commercial experience an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Safety sensitive position; pre-employment alcohol & drug test, fit to work medical, background check, and security clearance
