Job Summary
Conduct adaptive, corrective, preventive, and perfective maintenance of aeronautical systems software through design, development, and automated testing. Perform software requirements analysis, troubleshoot, and debug programs for enhancements while participating in peer reviews and unit testing. Identify software and hardware dependencies, create and maintain system engineering documentation including VDDs and diagrams, and manage dependencies within service-oriented and virtualization environments. Utilize Vue, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, and AWS services while collaborating via Jira and Confluence. Requires a BS in a technical discipline with 4+ years of experience or a master's degree with 2+ years, plus an active Top Secret Security Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline
- 4+ years of prior relevant experience
- master's with 2+ years of prior relevant experience
- 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Proficient in software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies and workflow
- Knowledge of the Architectural, SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices
- Familiar with Vue
- Familiar with NodeJS
- Familiar with PostgreSQL
- Familiar with Git/GitLab or other source code control tools
- Familiar with Amazon Web Services (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.)
- Familiar with System Engineering documentation creation (VDDs, diagrams, etc.)
- Familiar with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
- Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance
- ability to obtain SCI post hire
