Job Summary
Travel the Tacoma area in a fully loaded service vehicle to diagnose and repair construction and forestry equipment at customer locations, ensuring peak performance and maximizing uptime. Perform top-notch mechanical work on heavy diesel equipment while interacting with customers and handling tough jobs with minimal supervision. Maintain a Class B CDL and provide your own tools as you manage daily diagnostics and repairs across the region.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment
- Basic computer knowledge
- Self-motivation
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Class B CDL with a good driving record
- Must provide own tools
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
