Job Summary
Determine appropriate actions for repairs based on written, diagrammatic, and verbal instructions. Diagnose defective performance causes and replace faulty wiring, relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards, and position sensing devices. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment while adhering to safety procedures, local NEC, and company codes. Inform supervisor of repairs requiring higher expertise. Maintain current technical knowledge of government and company policies. Must meet all NM Licensing requirements for Journeyman Electrician; registration required within six months of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- Must have experience in the field
- Must meet all NM Licensing requirements for Journeyman Electrician
- Registration is required within 6 months of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer having a New Mexico journeyman license or hold a license in a state that reciprocates with NM
