Job Summary
Determine appropriate actions for repairs based on written, diagrammatic, and verbal instructions. Diagnose defective performance causes and replace faulty wiring, relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards, and position sensing devices. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment while adhering to safety procedures, local NEC, and company codes. Inform supervisors of repairs requiring higher expertise. Maintain current technical knowledge of government and company policies. This 3-4 week assignment in the Wood Fabrication shop in Longmont, CO requires a candidate living within a 50-mile radius with a valid CO Journeyman license or a reciprocating state license. Registration is required within six months of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience in the field
- Must meet all CO Licensing requirements for Journeyman Electrician
- Must currently have a CO journeyman license or hold a license in a state that reciprocates with ND
- Registration is required within 6 months of employment
- Candidate must live within a 50 mile radius to the facility
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
