Job Summary
Journeyman Electrician sought for Wind Turbine Services. Responsible for wind turbine maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair activities; assist with setup and maintenance of wind turbine systems; collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projects; maintain knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements; stay updated on wind turbine maintenance techniques and technology. Requires Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Certificate, ability to work at heights, valid driver’s license, willingness to travel (overnight stays). GWO certification is a plus; steel-toe boots provided; alcohol/drug screening required; in-person work in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
- Alcohol and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- GWO certification would be an asset
- Experience with basic electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance tasks would be an asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including at heights
- Travel (including overnight stays out of town) will be required
