Job Summary
Journeyman Electrician to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in Industrial Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas. Respond to service calls quickly and provide cost/timeline estimates; follow blueprints/technical drawings for installations; perform routine maintenance; conduct all repairs and installations according to code; inform client if plans need adjustment due to unforeseen circumstances. Requires ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications, install rigid conduit, understand instrumentation devices, and work independently while delivering strong customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License
- Valid Driver’s license
- 5+ years’ experience as an electrician; extensive experience in Industrial Settings such as Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas
- Experience with leading construction projects
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specifications
- Bend and Install Rigid conduit
- Understanding of Instrumentation devices
- Motor terminations
- Ability to work independently
- Customer service skills
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems
