Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components on industrial projects while interpreting blueprints and troubleshooting issues. Ensure all work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code and safety regulations, perform routine inspections, and test systems using appropriate tools. Collaborate with other trades, complete documentation and reports, and maintain a clean work environment with valid certifications including CSTS, ESTS, and First Aid. Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
- Ability to work independently
- Valid, CSTS, ESTS, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHIMIS
- Experience with PLC or VTScada
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
