Job Summary
Local Journeyman Electrician to install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites in the Bonnyville area. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings/blueprints, ensuring compliance with electrical code and safety regulations, performing inspections and maintenance, testing systems, collaborating with other trades, completing documentation, and maintaining a safe work environment. Requires Journeyperson certification (Red Seal preferred), H2S Alive, Fall Protection, First Aid with CPR/AED, CSTS 2020, knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S, ability to read blueprints, proficiency with hand tools and testing devices, valid driver’s license, and flexibility for shift work, overtime, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)
- Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
- Valid driver's licence
- Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
