Job Summary
Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, components, and related equipment according to safety codes. Analyze and repair motor and control systems in industrial and commercial settings. Execute preventive maintenance on wiring and systems while installing, programming, and mounting VFDs, soft starts, transformers, motors, and panelboards. Stretch and run wire, conduit, and other materials, utilizing threaders, pipe benders, and tuggers as necessary. Comprehend electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to guide work. This safety-sensitive role requires active Journeyman licensure, OSHA 10 certification, and the ability to work after hours or on weekends. Based in the Ozarks near Branson with travel to Springfield, SMSI offers vocational training, above-average pay, and a family-based atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 - 5 years as a Journeyman Electrician or similar field
- Must have an active Journeyman license or the ability to obtain one
- Must be able to respond to customer needs after hours or on weekends as needed
- Must be able to work in the Ozarks area, closer to Branson, but able to travel to the Springfield office when needed

- Class E driver's license
