Job Summary
Wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment for residential and light commercial sites. Pull wire, bend conduit, and install control panels while reading wiring diagrams and blueprints. Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting using measurement equipment to ensure all installations meet local and national codes. Assist with site preparation including trenching and piping, and conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems. Maintain a safe work environment and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at a Journeyman Electrician Level via experience or licensing/education/registration
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years of residential or commercial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
- Comfortable working with tools, conduit benders, and test meters
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions
Desired Qualifications
- AC and DC electrical experience preferred
