Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components on industrial projects while interpreting blueprints and troubleshooting issues. Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies through routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system testing. Collaborate with other trades, complete documentation, and maintain tools in a safe environment. Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate required; Red Seal preferred. Must hold CSTS, ESTS, First Aid, H2S Alive, and WHIMIS certifications. Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
- Valid, CSTS, ESTS, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHIMIS
- Valid driver's license
- Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Red Seal certification
- Experience with PLC or VTScada
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
- Ability to work independently
