Job Summary
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems for remodels, additions, outdoor living spaces, lighting, and EV chargers. Read blueprints and ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions. Manage assigned projects from start to finish while coordinating with project managers, inspectors, and homeowners. Follow safety policies, maintain clean jobsites, and represent the company professionally with customers. Deliver high-quality craftsmanship and keep clients informed throughout each project phase.
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State Journeyman Electrician License (01 or qualifying residential license as applicable)
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- High level of accountability and professionalism
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Residential construction or remodeling experience
- Experience with outdoor living electrical systems, hot tubs, landscape lighting, generators, or EV chargers
- HVAC installation, service, or electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Active Washington State Electrical Administrator Certificate (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience leading projects or mentoring apprentices
- Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction management software
