Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components on industrial projects. Interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to troubleshoot issues and perform corrective actions. Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies while conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Test systems using appropriate tools, collaborate with other trades, and complete required documentation. Maintain tools and a clean, safe work environment. Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate and 2 years of industrial experience required. Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
- Red Seal certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance electrical work
- Valid H2S Alive
- Fall Protection
- Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED)
- CSTS 2020
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
- OH&S requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to interpret technical documents
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Proficiency with testing devices
- Proficiency with electrical equipment
- Valid driver's licence
- Flexible availability for shift work
- Flexible availability for overtime
- Flexible availability for weekends
- Ability to work in various environments
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions
