Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems including wiring, panels, fixtures, and devices in new construction and remodel settings. Read blueprints and schematics to execute layouts accurately while ensuring every job meets NEC and Massachusetts electrical code standards. Coordinate directly with owners, clients, and other trades on-site to maintain schedules, and keep daily logs and job documentation accurate. Maintain a stocked truck, communicate material needs proactively, and work independently with a clean driving record. Submit credentials and written examples of prioritizing timeline/quality and solving problems that saved time or money.
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license, in good standing
- Solid working knowledge of the NEC and Massachusetts electrical code
- Comfortable reading blueprints and electrical schematics
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to pass a CORI (background) check
- Able to work on ladders, be on your feet all day, and periodically lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer knowledge for job documentation and communication
- Experience with both new construction and remodel/service work
- Own hand tools
- Experience training or working alongside apprentices
