Job Summary
Instruct and guide apprentices and helpers through daily duties while maintaining assigned work tasks provided by the project coordinator. Send material requests to the coordinator, keep the job-site clean, and maintain all tools and equipment on site. Troubleshoot motor and control systems, perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring, and adhere to all quality and safety codes. Maintain personal safety, promote a safe work environment, and read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals. Requires a current TDLR Texas Journeyman's License, 3+ years of commercial and residential experience, and ability to travel within Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- current and valid TDLR Texas Journeyman's License
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Ability to use electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Commercial and Residential Electrical Experience: 3+ years
- Valid authorization to work in the USA
- Must be able to pass as background check and drug screening
- Ability to travel within Houston, TX and the immediate surrounding areas

- OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Certification
