Journeyman Electrician Lead

Job Summary
Lead Journeyman Electrician responsible for on-site installation, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs of client electrical systems. Responsibilities include reviewing QA/QC redlines on construction drawings, interpreting electrical/mechanical/architectural schematics per electrical code, repairing components (sensors, transmitters, PLCs), pulling wiring through conduits, testing circuits for safety, completing field work orders, inventory transfers, and mentoring junior technicians. Must hold Journeyman or Red Seal, maintain safety trainings, participate in on-call schedules, and demonstrate strong customer relations. Additional duties as required with a focus on oil and gas process understanding and use of ERP (IFS) and remote work order systems.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman or interprovincial Red Seal Certificate in Electrical
- Standard First Aid/CPR with AED; H2S Alive, CSTS, CSO
- Ability to use pressure and/or electrical test equipment to troubleshoot systems
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand P&ID drawings
- Professional communication with administration and management
- Willingness to work after hours and participate in an on-call schedule
- Strong customer relations history
- Technical training or understanding of oil and gas processes
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with ERP (IFS) and MW0/Aurena remote work order systems
- Oil and gas industry experience is an asset
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol test (safety-sensitive roles)
- Criminal background check (relevant to position)
- Clean driving record (per company standards)
