Job Summary
Journeyman Electrician responsible for the installation of electrical systems in commercial and industrial construction, supervising/coordinating helper/apprentice electricians on a per-job basis, ensuring compliance with NEC and local codes, and delivering safe, reliable electrical solutions. Responsibilities include reporting to the job site on time, applying electrical and construction principles to problem-solve, wiring and lighting installations, pulling wire through conduit, installing control and distribution equipment, troubleshooting systems, maintaining safety practices, and completing required paperwork. Must interact effectively with customers and maintain quality workmanship across diverse commercial projects, with some travel in the greater NJ market.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- 4 years’ experience in electrical project installations
- Reliable transportation
- Electricians hand tools
- Ability to work with hands, multi-task
- Advanced electrical knowledge
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license & clear driving record
- Applicable state certification
