Job Summary
Install electrical systems in commercial and industrial markets while supervising helper and apprentice electricians. Apply basic electrical principles to solve design problems, troubleshoot common systems, and repair faulty equipment. Measure, cut, and install conduit; splice wires; connect wiring to fixtures and power equipment; and install control apparatus. Prepare sketches following blueprints to ensure concealed wiring is installed correctly. Complete work in accordance with national codes, local regulations, and company policies. Assist with loading materials, digging trenches, and pulling wire. Maintain a clean job site and treat all customers and trades personnel with respect. Fulfill daily commitments and stay on schedule. Requires 4 years of experience, advanced electrical knowledge, and applicable state certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- 4 years' experience in electrical project installations.
- Applicant must have reliable transportation.
- Position requires electricians hand tools.
- Ability to work with hands, multi-task.
- Advanced electrical knowledge required.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license & clear driving record to meet Company policy.
- Applicable state certification.
- Travel Required
