Job Summary
Install electrical systems, equipment, and components on industrial projects while interpreting drawings and ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system tests using appropriate tools, then collaborate with other trades to complete documentation and maintain a clean work environment. This role requires a valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate and at least four years of industrial construction experience, with flexible availability for shift work and overtime. Flights are provided from Edmonton or Calgary, and the team operates across 40 locations in Western Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
- Red Seal certification
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work
- Valid H2S Alive
- Fall Protection
- Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED)
- CSTS 2020
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
- OH&S requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
- Valid driver's licence
- Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
