Job Summary
Journeyman Electrician needed for large-scale commercial projects in Salt Lake City. Directs Apprentices and fellow Journeymen on electrical construction and service work, emphasizing safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to the National Electrical Code. 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for growth, in-house training, and long-term stability. Responsibilities include installing electrical systems, identifying components, climbing ladders and lifts, performing physical tasks, maintaining a clean work area, and mentoring junior electricians. Requires a Journeyman Wireman license (Utah or reciprocal) and extensive apprenticeship experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and employee training programs. Required Qualifications
- Degree in related field is required such as four years of apprenticeship training or three years of apprenticeship training with two year degree from technical college
- A Journeyman Wireman’s license from the State of Utah or reciprocating State is required
- High level of energy and sense of urgency is preferred
