Job Summary
Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems, wiring, fixtures, and control equipment while ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code. Inspect and test components such as transformers and switch gears, then survey systems, circuits, and plans using blueprints and manufacturer manuals. Complete work orders, record utilized materials, and run computer cables and jacks. Supervise and train electrician assistants on the job. Utilize wiring diagrams to execute assigned projects across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 5+ years experience in the electrical trade
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work well on a team
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
