Job Summary
Journeyman Electrician responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems and equipment in assigned facilities; performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency response, and coordination with contractors while complying with NEC, local codes, manufacturer specs, and safety policies; must possess an active electrician license and 3+ years of licensed electrical experience and be able to work overtime and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or technical school preferred)
- Active Electrician License issued by the applicable local or state jurisdiction (required)
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a licensed electrician
- Knowledge of Electrical theory, NEC, local electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to work with computers, automated controls, and building management systems
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders and stairs safely; lift up to 25 lbs; work in mechanical rooms/ confined spaces
